After 19 years as a hairdresser, I found myself questioning the industry I love. I saw salons consuming vast amounts of water and chemicals, with shelves lined with plastic bottles. I felt a growing disconnection between my work and my values. I knew it was time to create a different kind of salon—one that is gentle on the skin, the body, and the earth.
My roots are in the natural world. Growing up, my grandparents ran a vegetables farm in Japan , and I learned early on the immense power of nature. Losing both my parents to cancer further deepened my awareness of what we put into and on our bodies. I’ve experienced the trauma of chemical sensitivities myself, but I’ve also been inspired by the diverse people I’ve met throughout my career. These experiences are the driving force behind my salon today.

Sophic (Australia): A scientific breakthrough in sustainable hair colour. This professional line is 100% plastic-free and developed with scientists to ensure your hair becomes healthier with every application. It is a low-tox, vegan, and cruelty-free solution that prioritises both performance and the planet.
Oway (Italy): Inspired by "Agricosmetica," Oway uses plants grown on their own biodynamic farms to extract the purest essential oils. Their products are plastic-free, using infinitely recyclable glass and aluminium. We also offer refill stations for shampoo and conditioner to eliminate waste. Oway supports fair trade, animal welfare, and global sustainability goals.
Ultowa (Japan): Direct from Japan, this premium treatment uses high-concentration hydrogen and collagen technology. Unlike surface-level treatments, it neutralises active oxygen from within to restore moisture, shine, and strength.
A Space Where Earth and Human Rejoice
My mission is to transform the traditional salon experience into a "magical space" where you become more beautiful while the planet heals. I remember being seven years old, watching my mother lose her hair to chemotherapy—and I remember the feeling of cutting a relative’s hair in a bathroom because they were too ill to visit a salon.
